Amitabh Bachchan Recalls Ratan Tata's Humble Gesture on Kaun Banega Crorepati 16

During a recent episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati 16, Amitabh Bachchan fondly remembered Ratan Tata's humble nature. In a teaser clip, Amitabh shared a memorable story from when he and Tata once traveled together on the same flight.

Recounting the moment, Amitabh said, “What a man! Such a simple human being. Once, we were both traveling on the same flight to London. When we landed, the people who were supposed to pick him up weren’t around. Ratan Tata went to a phone booth to make a call, and I waited outside. Soon, he came up to me and, to my surprise, asked if he could borrow some money to make a call!”

Tata, who was the chairman of his company for over two decades, passed away on October 10 at Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital. He was 86.

Bollywood stars, including Salman Khan, Ajay Devgn, Priyanka Chopra, and Anushka Sharma, poured in condolences on social media, remembering him as a true industry titan and honoring his legacy.
