Former OYO CFO Abhishek Gupta Joins Lenskart as New CFO

Abhishek Gupta, who used to be the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at OYO, has now joined Lenskart, a popular eyewear company, as their new CFO.

In a LinkedIn post on October 22, Gupta shared his excitement about the change: “After nine amazing years at OYO, I have recently joined Lenskart as the CFO. Thank you, Ritesh (OYO founder), and the entire OYO team for the trust and friendship.”

This move comes less than two months after Lenskart’s previous CFO, Mukti Hariharan, left to work for Coca-Cola. Hariharan reflected on her time at Lenskart, saying, “Last week marked my final days at Lenskart, and what an incredible journey it has been. I’m proud of the high-performance team I built and worked with. It was a privilege to work alongside such passionate people.”

Gupta left OYO in March and started at Lenskart in August, according to his LinkedIn updates. As CFO, he will help plan for the company's future and focus on improving Lenskart's financial strategy and corporate governance.

OYO is planning to list its shares on the stock market and had announced in December that Gupta would be stepping down. The company promoted Rakesh Kumar, who has been with OYO for over six years, to take over as group CFO.
