On Sunday, Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant announced that Iran can no longer use its proxy groups, Hamas in Gaza and Hezbollah in Lebanon, effectively against Israel.
Speaking at a memorial ceremony in Jerusalem, Gallant explained, "In the last year, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) have made significant progress in the fight against these groups."
He stated that Hamas is no longer operating as a strong military force in Gaza, and that Hezbollah has lost many of its leaders and missile capabilities. Gallant emphasized that both groups are "no longer an effective tool" for Iran.
