What Was Announced? Maharashtra Congress President Nana Patole said, "We’ve agreed that Congress, NCP (Sharad Pawar faction), and Shiv Sena (UBT) will each contest 85 seats. For the remaining 18 seats, we’ll talk to our other alliance partners, like the Samajwadi Party, and finalize them by tomorrow. We are united as Maha Vikas Aghadi, and we will form the next government."
