PM Modi Heads to Kazan, Russia for BRICS Summit 2024

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is flying to Kazan, Russia, from October 22-23 to attend the 16th BRICS Summit. This year’s theme is "Strengthening Multilateralism for Just Global Development and Security." Before he arrives, Indian community members in Kazan have welcomed him with big billboards in the city.

Modi’s trip is at the invitation of Russian President Vladimir Putin and shows India’s strong commitment to working closely with other BRICS countries. During the summit, Modi will have meetings with leaders from the BRICS nations and other invited guests.

This visit is important for India-Russia relations and highlights how BRICS can help tackle global issues. After the discussions, Modi will wrap up his trip and return to India on October 23. The talks will focus on boosting cooperation among member countries for sustainable development and security.
