Polish YouTuber Karolina Goswami Reports Threats from Dhruv Rathee's Fans, Walks with Bodyguards

Karolina Goswami, a Polish YouTuber living in India, says that supporters of another YouTuber, Dhruv Rathee, have threatened and insulted her. Because of this, she now walks around with two bodyguards. In a recent video, which has been viewed over 4.5 million times on Instagram, Karolina is seen walking with her two children while two men dressed in black walk beside her as bodyguards. She wrote, "We fear nothing. We will continue living in India."

Karolina says the threats started after she criticized some of Dhruv Rathee's videos in May. She claimed his videos were spreading "anti-India propaganda" and said that since then, she has received over 220 threats from his fans. On her YouTube channel, India In Details, Karolina also called for Dhruv Rathee to be banned from social media. After posting her videos, she says her family was attacked online, with some people even sending her rape threats.

Karolina is originally from Poland but has an Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) card, which allows her to live in India. She moved to India with her Indian husband, Anurag, and their children. Together, they run the YouTube channel India In Details, where they share their experiences of living in India and raising a family there. The channel has over 1.1 million subscribers.

Karolina and her husband have previously made several videos criticizing Dhruv Rathee, calling him a "fake intellectual" and accusing him of lying in his videos. She also mentioned that last year, after one of their videos, they were attacked by Rathee’s supporters in Germany. Their gadgets were stolen, and their car was damaged.

In May, Karolina asked the Indian government for security after receiving the rape threats.
