As the U.S. presidential race heats up, a new twist has added to the frenzy—rumors of Elon Musk’s alleged ties with Russian President Vladimir Putin. The Wall Street Journal recently reported that Musk, CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, has been in contact with Putin since late 2022, discussing topics from world politics to personal interests.
According to sources, Putin allegedly requested that Musk avoid activating his Starlink satellites over Taiwan, reportedly to please China’s President Xi Jinping. Musk, who supports former President Donald Trump in the 2024 elections, has dismissed these claims as “categorically false,” denying he sold Starlink systems to Russia.
In the meantime, Vice President Kamala Harris has been energizing voters, with support from stars like Bruce Springsteen and former President Barack Obama at a rally in Georgia. With key battleground states in play, the Musk-Putin rumors have added an unexpected twist to the election drama as the countdown to Election Day intensifies.
