Nikki Haley Backs Donald Trump Over Kamala Harris in Final Election Push
In an opinion piece published in The Wall Street Journal just before Election Day, former U.S. ambassador to the United Nations and ex-South Carolina governor Nikki Haley endorsed Donald Trump over Vice President Kamala Harris. Haley urged undecided voters to focus on policy differences, emphasizing that Trump's positions make him the "clearly better choice."

"I don’t agree with Trump 100% of the time, but I agree with him on most issues," Haley wrote, contrasting her support for Trump with her strong opposition to Harris. Highlighting key policy areas, she pointed out stark differences, particularly on issues like taxes, spending, and national security, asserting, "Trump is clearly the better choice."

Haley argued that the Biden-Harris administration has made the world less safe. "Our southern border has become a major security risk under Biden and Harris," she stated. She also criticized the administration's approach to Afghanistan, suggesting it had sparked further global instability. Haley voiced concerns about Biden and Harris’s policies toward Iran and China, which she claimed have only worsened threats to U.S. interests.

On what a second Trump term might look like, Haley admitted that while Trump's presidency wouldn’t be "perfect," his policies would better serve the country. “We need to keep taxes low, cut back on excessive spending, and expand U.S. energy production,” she said, suggesting that Trump's policies align with the needs of American families and businesses.
