Rajnath Singh Slams Jharkhand's Ruling Alliance as “Fused Crackers,” Calls BJP the “Mighty Rocket” for Change
Ranchi: Defence Minister Rajnath Singh took aim at the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM)-led ruling alliance, calling them “fused crackers” while declaring BJP as the “mighty rocket” that will uplift Jharkhand. Speaking at an election rally in Ranchi’s Hatia, Singh stated it was clear that the BJP would lead the state forward after the elections.
Singh also referred to Mandal Murmu, a former supporter of JMM’s Chief Minister Hemant Soren, who has now joined the BJP. Singh criticized JMM with the phrase “Jamkar Malai Maro” (skim the cream), alleging the party “sucks blood of tribals” rather than supporting their interests. He challenged Soren on issues like immigration, questioning why the tribal population has dropped to 28%.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi also joined in, calling the JMM-led alliance “Ghuspaithiya Bandhan” (infiltrators’ alliance) for “supporting Bangladeshi infiltrators,” which he warned could reduce Jharkhand’s tribal population further. Modi labeled the coalition as both “Ghuspaithiya Bandhan” and “Mafia ka Ghulam” (slave to the mafia).
