Varun Dhawan’s ‘Baby John’: A Bold Adaptation of ‘Theri’ Coming This Christmas

Varun Dhawan is excited about his new movie called “Baby John,” which is similar to the popular Tamil movie “Theri” from 2016. Last week, he shared an action-packed trailer that got fans buzzing. In an interview, Varun explained that “Baby John” isn’t just a copy of “Theri” but is more of an ‘adaptation.’

He mentioned that the director, Atlee, wanted to change some parts of the story to make it fit better for Hindi audiences. Varun said, “If someone expects it to be exactly like the original, they will be disappointed, because it’s more like a new version.”

In “Baby John,” Varun plays a brave police officer and a single dad who stands up to bad guys. He has an important line in the film: “Many like me might have come before, but I have come here for the first time.” This sets the stage for his heroic adventure.

The film will be released in theaters this Christmas and features Wamiqa Gabbi, Keerthy Suresh, and Jackie Shroff, with a special appearance by Salman Khan.
