Angelina Jolie Advocates for Syria Amid Divorce Finalization with Brad Pitt

Angelina Jolie shared an emotional message on her Instagram Stories after finishing her long divorce with Brad Pitt. Instead of talking about her breakup, the famous actress chose to focus on helping people in Syria who are in great need.

In her post, she included a picture from the Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) showing the damage done to Syria after almost 14 years of war. She wrote, “Syria: over 17 million people need help. There has been a lot of fighting, and many people are still struggling. Even with a new government, so many people still require assistance.”

Angelina is well-known for her charity work, focusing on protecting the environment, promoting education, and supporting women’s rights. As a Special Envoy for the United Nations, she works hard to help refugees around the world.

In her recent post, she praised the NRC, an organization she works with that fights for the rights of people who have been forced to leave their homes. She has volunteered in places like Jordan and Yemen to help these displaced individuals.

Just days before her emotional post, Angelina ended her long and challenging legal battle with Brad Pitt. Her lawyer, James Simone, mentioned that more than eight years ago, Angelina asked for a divorce, and since then, she has been focusing on finding peace for herself and their six children: Maddox (23), Pax (21), Zahara (19), Shiloh (18), and twins Vivienne and Knox (16).

While their divorce is settled, the couple still has a court battle over their French winery. Angelina reportedly feels exhausted but is relieved that one part of their complicated situation is finally over.
