Kajal Aggarwal has unveiled her first look from the upcoming movie ‘Kannappa,’ which also features Akshay Kumar and Prabhas. She shared this on Instagram, expressing her excitement to play the role of Parvati Devi, calling it a “dream role.”
In the poster, Kajal wears a stunning white saree and beautiful jewelry. The tagline reads, “Mother who rules over the three worlds! The Trishakti who protects her devotees!” She shared her joy in the caption, stating, “A dream role indeed! The film ‘Kannappa’ is directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh and produced by Vishnu Manchu’s AVA Entertainment and 24 Frames Factory. Alongside Kajal, it stars Prabhas, Preity Mukhundhan, Mohanlal, Mohan Babu, R Sarathkumar, Brahmanandam, Madhoo, and Mukesh Rishi. ‘Kannappa’ will be released in several languages, including Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, Hindi, and English.
The story revolves around the legendary warrior Kannappa, known for his deep devotion to Lord Shiva. It shows how he transforms from a hunter to a warrior and then becomes a saint, earning a respected title called Nayanar. The movie’s music is created by Mani Sharma and Stephen Devassy, and it will be filmed by Sheldon Chau. ‘Kannappa’ is scheduled to hit theaters on April 25.

Last year, a teaser of the movie was shown at the Cannes Film Festival. After the screening, Vishnu wrote on X about the fantastic feedback they received, saying, “We showcased the teaser of Kannappa here in Cannes, and it received an overwhelmingly positive response! Everyone loved it!”
