Preity Zinta, who has been moving back and forth between India and the US since marrying Gene Goodenough from Los Angeles, recently posted on social media about the ongoing wildfires in LA.
She wrote about how shocking and scary it is to see fires affecting neighborhoods and friends being told to evacuate. “I can’t believe I’m experiencing ash falling from the sky like snow and worrying about what will happen next,” she said. Preity expressed her sadness for those who are suffering from the fires and thanked God that she and her family are safe for now.
She sent her “thoughts and prayers” to everyone who has lost their homes and expressed gratitude to the firefighters and rescue teams working hard to keep people safe. Many fans commented to share their relief and wished Preity and her family well.
Other celebrities are also feeling the impact of the wildfires. Priyanka Chopra, who lives in LA with Nick Jonas and their daughter, posted a photo of the smoke from the fires and said she hopes everyone can stay safe.
Nora Fatehi, who was visiting LA, recorded a video saying she was told to evacuate. “I’ve never seen anything like this. It’s crazy,” she said, sharing her worry about making her flight soon.
On a brighter note, Preity is set to appear in the upcoming movie, “Lahore 1947.”
