Special Screening of Kangana’s ‘Emergency’ Attended by Nitin Gadkari

Actress Kangana Ranaut held a special screening of her new movie called “Emergency” in Nagpur. The event took place on Saturday and was attended by Union Minister Nitin Gadkari and Kangana’s co-star Anupam Kher.

Kangana shared on X (formerly Twitter) that this was the first time anyone got to see the movie. She explained, “Today, we are having the first screening. No one has seen the film before. The censor board was very strict, and we had to show them lots of proof and paperwork. After six months of hard work, the film is ready!”

Nitin Gadkari, who watched the film for the first time, said, “I have seen the Emergency in our country. The history that Kangana has shown today is correct. I believe the movie will be loved by everyone.”

Kangana also posted photos from the screening on Instagram, captioning them with: “#emergency with @gadkari.nitin ji Releasing 17th January.” Gadkari praised the movie, saying, “I thank everyone who worked on this film for showing a dark chapter of our history with such honesty. I urge everyone to watch it.”

The movie “Emergency” will hit theaters on January 17. It tells the story of the emergency declared by former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi from 1975 to 1977. In the film, Kangana plays Indira Gandhi, Anupam Kher plays politician Jayaprakash Narayan, Shreyas Talpade plays young Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Milind Soman plays Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw, Mahima Choudhary is Pupul Jayakar, and the late Satish Kaushik portrays Jagjivan Ram.
